Process & Materials
Each DRB work is built through a layered, material-driven process using:
- Iron, bronze, and copper pigments
- Natural earth and clay elements
- Acrylic mediums on canvas, wood, and metal
The surfaces are developed through controlled oxidation-using natural reactions to create depth, movement, and variation that cannot be replicated.
Rather than painting an image, each piece is constructed over time. Layers are applied, disrupted, and reworked-allowing the materials to shift, patina, and settle into their final form.
This process results in surfaces that feel aged, grounded, and alive-carrying a sense of history, weight, and transformation.
No two pieces can be duplicated.
